For the 2024 - 2025 season, CurlManitoba has awarded the Manitoba Curling Tour 2 provincial berths for WOMEN, and 4 provincial berths for MEN.

Provincial berth allocations are as follows :

​

WOMEN (2 berths)

• 1 berth to the winner of the MCT Atkins Curling Supplies Classic to be held October 4 - 6, 2024 at the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club.

• 1 berth to the highest ranked team on tour once the MCT Showdown is complete (to be held from November 29 – December 1, 2024 at the Stonewall Curling Club).

MEN (4 berths)

• 1 berth to the winner of the MCT Atkins Curling Supplies Classic to be held October 4 - 6, 2024 at the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club.

• 1 berth to the winner of the MCT Shootout to be held December 13 – 15, 2024 at the Virden Curling Club.

• 2 berths to the highest ranked teams on tour once the MCT Showdown is complete (to be held from November 29 – December 1, 2024 at the Stonewall Curling Club).

 

 

PROCESS 

• Bonspiel winner spots will be awarded first, followed by any points berths available calculated AFTER the winner berths are awarded.

• If there is a TIE with points, the team with the furthest finish of the season will break the tie (i.e. finalist finish ahead of semi-final finish).

• If there remains to be a tie, the berth will go to the team that earned points in the most number of events.

• Events will need a minimum of 8 teams in order for a berth to be awarded. If less than 8 teams register for an event the berth will be moved to another bonspiel or awarded by points, as decided by the MCT Board.
