For the 2026 - 2027 season, the MCT has been awarded 2 provincial berths for WOMEN, and 3 provincial berths for MEN. 

 

​Provincial berth allocations are as follows :

​

​WOMEN (2 berths)

• 1 berth to the winner of the MCT Atkins Curling Supplies Classic to be held October 30 - November 1, 2026 at the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club.

• 1 berth to the highest ranked team on tour once the MCT Shootout is complete to be held November 20– 22, 2026 at the St. Claude Curling Club.

​MEN (3 berths)

• 1 berth to the winner of the MCT Atkins Curling Supplies Classic to be held October 30 - November 1, 2026 at the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club.

• 2 berths to the highest ranked teams on tour once the MCT Shootout is complete to be held November 20 – 22, 2026 at the Virden Curling Club.

NOTE

For the points berths, if there is a TIE with points then the team with the furthest finish of the season will break the tie (i.e. finalist finish ahead of semi-final finish). If there remains to be a tie, the berth will go to the team that earned points in the most number of events
